Ocean power is set to provide an exciting new source of clean renewable energy and one which can contribute to global energy needs on a sustainable basis. AWS Ocean Energy is a clean-tech company at the forefront of the technological challenge to make this happen.

Our business is marine energy technology: creating, commercialising and delivering enabling technologies and related services to the emerging marine energy sector through R & D, engineering and commercial expertise.

Our lead product is the award-winning Archimedes Waveswing™ wave power system. We will deploy a 250kW demonstrator in 2009 with commercial roll-out to follow by 2011. In parallel, we’re researching and designing new and complementary technologies and opportunities for both the wave and tidal sectors.

Backed by Shell Technology Ventures and other blue-chip investors, our experienced team of engineers and researchers seek a collaborative approach to development where innovation and value are enhanced through shared experience and communication.
